SZX is a 2D action platformer game featuring two playble characters (see bellow) and 15 levels, the game has a run'n gunner style of gameplay with an artstyle resembling cartoons from the 2000s but containing much more adult themes and violence (gore, swearing, political jokes, etc.), the more you progress in the game, the harder it will get.
Storyline (no spoilers)
In the last weeks, there has been an increase on the criminality of the capital city of Vadarsk, not only that, but massive explosions happened in the slums, and because of that, the authorities contact a PMC lead by Jaron, who in turn, sends his best mercenary (Ryan Warnock) and his newly-hired sidekick (Salex) to go to the slums and knock down and kill whoever was responsible for the terrorist actions, however, along the way, they found out the rabbit hole is much bigger than they initially though.
Characters
Ryan Warnock
One of the two main characters, Ryan is a highly trained mercenary who has been working for Jaron for several years, he has a strength beyond the average and a very strong body resistance able to resist gunshots, he also has very good shooting skills, and he's always carrying his AK-47 with him, he also carries a baseball bat to cause more damage to his opponents.
Salex
The other main character, Salex is a radioactive mutant hybrid of cat and porcupine, he's the sidekick of Ryan and has met him when Ryan was on a previous mission prior to the events of the game and was eventually hired by Jaron to work alongside Ryan. Despite his goofy personality, he always tries to do his job done, he's also a lot stronger than he thinks.
Jaron
The head of the PMC where Ryan and Salex work in, a war veteran and former secret agent who later joined the PMC, which later he became its head due his experiences and strategic views.
Belek
Belek is Jaron's secretary and also in charge of managing the documents and files of the organization, he came from the countryside of vadarsk, and he's mostly chill due his job not taking too much stress or effort.
